Piano lessons take place every week at HCM and are suitable for students aged 7 and over, right up to adults. Prices range from £14 to £22 dependent on private or group led classes.

Whether you’re a child or adult, our piano lessons at HCM will teach you everything you need to be a confident and creative pianist.
Choose from 30, 45 or 60 minute weekly classes, in a group or individual setting, and you’ll develop a new-found love of playing the piano, whatever your current level.
In piano lessons at HCM, you’ll learn songs from a broad range of musical genres, such as pop, soul and rock, and will cover techniques including chord progressions, arpeggios and improvisation. Your lessons will be different every single week, and will be adapted to your level, interests and the size of your class.

In addition to weekly music lessons, HCM pianists and keyboard players are encouraged to take part in our end of term gigs and showcases. This helps students gain experience in playing live and in front of an audience, as well as giving useful experience and a new found confidence.
We know you’re keen to see yourself improve as much as we are, so we offer our students RSL graded instrument exams. Our lessons follow the RSL graded syllabus for piano from Debut to Grade 8, and teenage students can link our graded lessons with other activities, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme or music at GCSE level.
