On top of developing impressive performance and technical skills relevant to your music course, you’ll participate in real-world music industry experiences, such as masterclasses, Q&A sessions with industry guests, studio tours, West End show attendance and regular live gigs throughout the year, as you learn first-hand the ins and outs of the music business.

    Is it for me?

If you’re a 16-19 year old and you didn’t perform quite as well in your GCSEs as you’d hoped, you can retake them while you study music with us. Whether it’s English and/or maths GCSEs or Functional Skills that you need to resit, with a Level 2 Music Performance or Music Production Diploma you can work towards improving your results while also progressing a career in music.

If you’re looking to do your A-levels and know you want to make music full time, HCM Music College offer an innovative alternative to the traditional sixth form route. Our Level 3 diplomas are the equivalent of three A-levels and a suitable path to future university music degree study and a music business career.

To join us, you don’t need to be currently studying GCSE or A-level music or be a formally trained musician – you just need to play your instrument to a reasonable standard, or have a passion for music technology and making electronic music.

Our music diplomas are a great gateway to taking your first steps in a music industry career or into further education with our partners ICMP London. Not only are they a chance to do something you love every day, but they’ll put you on a successful course to a professional and sustainable portfolio career in music and the creative arts.
