Over the years, so many of our past students have either gone on to exciting further studies in music, to a first-rate music business career… or both.
Students like rapper and producer Micah Douglas, who’s currently studying Events Management at university and has her debut EP ‘Gold Tape’ out soon. Or vocalist Lizzie Reynolds who, in between studying a Creative Musicianship degree at ICMP, has gigs all over London, including at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park and the Hard Rock Café.
Our Music Performance Guitar course student Cara Beard is now a full-time singer-songwriter signed to Warner Music who spends her time writing, releasing and promoting music with her duo Darline, as well as recording in LA. Or Ajit Gill who’s currently studying Drums on ICMP’s BMus course and whose band Vertaal is due to release their second EP soon. They’ve made the most of the foundations the Music Performance Diplomas gave them… and so can you!
Our Music Production Diploma students have been showing the music industry what they’re made of too, like Daniel and Matthew Valaitis who have decided to make music their full-time careers. The pair write and produce original music for artists and theatre productions under the business name The Valaitis Brothers, and are building their own studio space –which will take their recording sessions and engineering abilities to a whole new level. Our Music Production Diploma gave the boys the skills they needed to become full-time producers – something you can aspire to too!
Cara Beard is now a singer-songwriter with Eurovision experience and a Warner Music record deal.
